Fu nel 1946 che Édouard Boubat, avviato alla fotografia, incontrò Lella, la musa con i capelli a flusso libero, che diventerà la sua prima moglie. Nel 1999 a Lella ed ai suoi ritratti fu dedicata una mostra "Lella" presso la Maison Européenne de la Photographie.It was in 1946 that Édouard Boubat was initiated to photography and met Lella, the muse with her free-flowing hair, who was to become his first wife. An exhibition ("Lella") at the Maison européenne de la photographie, in 1999 and other works were devoted to portraits of Lella.
